Mike Iannantuano

Making drums is a profound gift that Michael holds with the highest regard. Michael’s personal journey of energy work and Shamanism brought him to experience drumming and the power it creates. Drumming became a natural part of his work as a Shaman, and in short sequence he was called to the work of making drums. From the very first drum he made, he could feel its profound power.

Drumming awakens a primal remembrance of spirit, yielding joyful lightness of being. Making a drum brings energy into physical form that comes alive, each sound transcending time and space. Every drum is made for someone; Mike doesn’t know who it is, he doesn’t need to know. He knows the person and the drum call each other and come together to create a unique relationship.

Based in Beaverton, Oregon, Michael makes drums, leads drumming circles, teaches drum making workshops, and drums for his own spiritual guidance and self-healing.
